Base Salary
$76k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document assigned business requirements and participate in software application design discussions.
- Develop, integrate, and update enterprise applications using Java and AWS while maintaining system stability.
- Conduct code reviews, modify the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyze results, coordinate bug fixes, and support software quality.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for new applications.
- Resolve production issues, recommend preventive strategies, and maintain records of coding, testing, and support activities.
Requirements
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale enterprise applications in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and AWS.
- Experience with secure coding standards, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or qualifying progressive specialty experience in lieu of education.
- Strong SQL and AWS enterprise data management knowledge is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon EventBridge, dead-letter queue handling, message timeout handling, long polling, and message ordering is preferred.
- Ability to design scalable, resilient, high-availability systems focused on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Ability to work across the full SDLC and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
