Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop CPLD and FPGA programs implementing power sequencing and managing PWM, I2C, SPI, and other protocols.
  • Develop systems software and device drivers for ML acceleration servers.
  • Define test and automation flows to validate firmware across development, manufacturing, and production stages.
  • Evaluate and optimize firmware performance.
  • Build error detection and recovery mitigation systems at AWS scale.
  • Deploy and monitor firmware changes using automation, continuous integration, and fleet metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and software teams to build scalable server designs.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • At least 3 years of programming experience with at least one hardware description language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: embedded development experience in C/C++.
  • Preferred: RTL development experience in Verilog, VHDL, or SystemC.
