Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications and internal business tools.
- Build full-stack Java solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive web design.
- Design and implement REST APIs, SOAP web services, data exchange processes, and third-party system integrations.
- Develop database integrations, data access layers, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database tuning improvements.
- Administer and support environments running Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, Linux, and Windows Server.
- Manage deployments, upgrades, production support, application monitoring, incident resolution, and performance troubleshooting.
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical business systems and help ensure application availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on requirements, architecture, solution reviews, planning, and technical delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring while maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise software development experience.
- Strong full-stack application development experience with Java, enterprise applications, frontend technologies, and multi-tier systems.
- Experience with object-oriented design, MVC architecture, REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, authentication, and security protocols.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, JDBC, stored procedures, complex queries, database performance tuning, and production database troubleshooting.
- Experience administering or supporting Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, Linux, and Windows Server.
- Experience with Git, shell scripting and automation, application monitoring, troubleshooting, performance diagnostics, deployment, and production support.
- Experience supporting large-scale internal business applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of survey platforms, workflow automation, and operational tools is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.
- Ability to balance development responsibilities with production support and infrastructure management.
