Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade machine learning and optimization systems for search and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to shape the product roadmap using machine learning.
- Guide technical decision-making across multiple product areas.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for high-impact algorithmic improvements.
Requirements
- Proven track record of designing and shipping impactful algorithms in a production environment.
- Deep expertise in applied machine learning for Search/NLP/IR/RecSys.
- Familiarity with explore/exploit/MAB algorithms, LLMs, and causal inference techniques is a plus.
- Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
