Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope ambiguous customer requests, prototype quickly, and iterate toward stable customer deployments using Tailor’s platform.
- Collaborate with customers and Forward Deployed Product Managers to understand needs and refine implementations.
- Productize repeatable solutions into scalable modules for accounting, e-commerce, logistics, and other workflows.
- Build and ship production-grade front-end UIs, backend APIs, integrations, and data models.
- Help shape engineering standards, developer experience, and platform architecture as Tailor grows.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in production environments.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React is a plus.
- Strong foundation in data modeling, API design, performance, scalability, and reliability for production systems.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and external platforms, particularly across accounting, commerce, or logistics domains.
- Ability to scope ambiguous requests, prioritize independently, and ship maintainable solutions without a complete specification.
- Comfort working directly with customers to translate operational pain points into software.
