Base Salary
$75k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
- Create domain models, microflows, nanoflows, page layouts, custom widgets, and modules in Mendix Studio Pro.
- Develop REST and SOAP web services and integrate applications with external systems, databases, and APIs.
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces and wireframes from requirements.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot defects, resolve performance issues, and optimize application scalability.
- Support deployments across development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, system architects, and other developers to refine requirements and deliver applications.
- Create technical documentation, follow Mendix best practices, implement security and compliance requirements, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and stay current with Mendix platform updates.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years of Mendix development, is required.
- Strong proficiency with Mendix Studio Pro, Mendix platform architecture, domain modeling, microflows, and page design is required.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web service integration, relational databases, data modeling, SQL, and version control systems such as SVN or Git is required.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and effective communication and collaboration abilities are required.
- Preferred qualifications include Mendix Rapid or Advanced Developer certification; JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3, and React experience; Mendix mobile development; CI/CD and DevOps experience; AWS, Azure, or Mendix Cloud familiarity; transportation or logistics systems experience; DoD security knowledge; government systems integration; enterprise application development; JIRA or Confluence; and SAP S/4HANA experience.
