Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver large-scale, cross-functional distributed systems initiatives.
- Define and drive the Elixir/OTP systems roadmap and architectural strategy.
- Serve as the primary technical decision-maker for distributed systems architecture.
- Identify systemic reliability risks and lead initiatives to address them.
- Elevate the engineering organization through technical mentorship.
- Partner with various teams to influence product strategy and company direction.
- Drive engineering efficiency by establishing metrics and processes.
- Build and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing systems.
- Represent the engineering perspective in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Identify and develop emerging technical leaders within the team.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software development experience.
- Expert-level mastery of Elixir and OTP.
- Deep expertise in designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven track record of establishing comprehensive testing strategies.
- Extensive experience in service architectures and internal infrastructure.
- Expert-level understanding of distributed systems integration patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to work full-stack when necessary.
- History of leading technical initiatives in Git-based workflows.
- U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
