Responsibilities
- Verify flight software requirements through final qualification and run-for-record activities.
- Review requirements and success criteria and create Python test cases, scripts, and utilities.
- Develop Python-based testing through final qualification review.
- Review GNCP regression verification tests, identify failures, understand issues, and implement corrections.
- Run software and hardware test beds.
- Collaborate with team members, external mode teams, developers, and principal engineers.
- Deliver qualified requirement success criteria, Python test scripts and utilities, DOORS documentation, result files, and checklists.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, or a related equivalent engineering field.
- At least five years of software verification experience.
- Previous software verification experience and leadership ability.
- High-level Python proficiency, specifically for software verification testing.
- Knowledge of Linux and MATLAB.
- Detail orientation and self-motivation.
- Desired qualifications include Orion or Orion software verification experience, flight or simulation software experience, GNCP knowledge, C++ knowledge, and DOORS experience.
