Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software solutions and components.
  • Write and build clean, maintainable code for software releases under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Install and configure software required for project delivery.
  • Write and review relevant technical documentation within modern engineering practices and development environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, testers, and project teams.
  • Follow secure software development, quality assurance, and governance practices.
  • Meet project deadlines for software module delivery.

Requirements

  • Be in the penultimate year of a Bachelor degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate an interest in software engineering, problem-solving, collaboration, and learning.
  • Communicate well and work effectively with others.
  • Be curious, proactive, adaptable, and open to feedback.
  • Be an Australian Citizen.
  • Successfully obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance as a condition of employment.
  • Meet any applicable International Traffic in Arms Regulations requirements.
