Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications.
- Drive architectural governance activities and seek platform convergence.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer delivery and organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist and mentor development staff in delivering product features.
- Lead technical conversations, design sessions, and code reviews.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively with executive leadership, peers, and development teams.
- Provide technical direction and foster learning, communication, and continuous improvement across teams.
- Translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and system implementation or enhancement.
- Significant experience in analytical systems engineering, design, and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Fluency in DevOps concepts and experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, with flexibility for the right candidate.
