Base Salary
$190k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy reliable machine-learning solutions for backend systems and resource-constrained real-time environments.
- Support and improve existing machine-learning models and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and flight-testing teams to take features from concept through production-ready flight code.
- Develop perception capabilities for autonomous drones using flight data and diverse sensor inputs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision, ideally in robotics or autonomous systems.
- MS degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, or two years of directly related experience working on the relevant skills.
- Excellent software design and implementation skills.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- Hands-on experience with JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow for training, inference, and validation pipelines.
- Familiarity with modern computer-vision architectures such as CNNs and Transformers.
- Expertise in one or more of multi-view geometry and 3D reconstruction, monocular or stereo depth estimation, object detection and localization, semantic segmentation, local and global image features, vision foundation models, VLMs, or VLAs.
- Ability to design and implement simple solutions to business-critical problems.
