Responsibilities

Modify existing databases and database management systems.
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify database identifiers for management systems.
Coordinate database development with project teams and help determine project scope and limitations.
Review database user requests and estimate the time and cost required to complete projects.
Troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve them.
Support software development activities across analysis, requirements gathering, functional specification, development, testing, and delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Require 3–6 years of professional experience.
Require a high school degree and bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of XML, Java, JSP, SQL, Visual Basic, and other relevant software.
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including business and systems analysis, requirements gathering, functional specification authoring, development, testing, and delivery.
Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Specialized knowledge in IT development, analysis, information management/database administration, or QA involving niche technologies.

Six-month contract assignment.
Staffing and ongoing skill development support for professionals placed at client sites.
