Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Build automation frameworks and scripts for API, UI, and end-to-end testing.
- Potentially contribute to the continuous integration framework for the automation suite.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Influence test approaches that support repeatable testing and sustainable automation.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficiency with Playwright, preferably using Python, with TypeScript or JavaScript also acceptable.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with SQL and REST APIs, including data validation and simple queries.
- Experience testing web applications, complicated workflows, and API/UI functionality.
- Strong core testing skills and the ability to influence testing approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master's degree in Software Engineering.
- Preferred experience with enterprise ERP platforms.
- Preferred basic AWS cloud knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- ISTQB Certified Tester or Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer certification is listed among the qualifications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, independent problem-solving, and ability to articulate outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
