Responsibilities

  • Configure, evaluate, and tune LLMs for cybersecurity use cases, including prompt engineering, RAG, and tool/function calling.
  • Design, build, maintain, and operationalize AI agents and agentic workflows integrated with SOAR, SIEM, and EDR tooling.
  • Implement safeguards against adversarial inputs such as prompt injection and jailbreaks.
  • Architect scalable, modular AI solutions using secure development principles.
  • Implement AI governance controls covering data handling, audit logging, human-in-the-loop processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize LLM API and infrastructure costs using caching, model tiering, and guardrails.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify operational problems, prototype solutions, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Produce technical documentation for ongoing management of developed capabilities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of AI/ML engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM-powered applications in production, including observability and evaluation mechanisms.
  • Practical experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
  • Strong understanding of LLM concepts, vector databases, context windows, temperature and sampling parameters, system prompts, and tool/function calling.
  • Experience implementing end-to-end RAG pipelines, including data ingestion, chunking, embedding model selection, and retrieval tuning.
  • Experience implementing parsing pipelines for document processing and unstructured data ingestion.
  • Knowledge of AI security risks, including the OWASP LLM Top 10, and their mitigations.
  • Experience working within enterprise governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python and familiarity with common AI/ML libraries.
  • Ability to build custom tools that interact with or are exposed to LLMs.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating AI solutions with third-party platforms and internal tooling.
  • Infrastructure-as-code deployment experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security tooling such as SOAR, SIEM, and EDR is advantageous.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, pragmatic, results-focused, and able to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities.
