Responsibilities

Lead projects from concept, design, implementation, to rollout, ensuring the highest quality and performance.
Identify opportunities to enhance ranking capabilities by understanding customer needs.
Design and develop applied machine learning models for personalization and game taxonomy.
Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and backend engineers.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team's technical growth.
Conduct A/B tests and experiments to fine-tune algorithms and models.
Stay updated on state-of-the-art algorithmic techniques and adapt them to Reddit's platform.
Design, implement, and maintain reliable, high-performance distributed systems.

5+ years of experience in a relevant industry or academic background.
Prior experience with personalized feed ranking.
Proven track record of delivering complex machine learning projects.
Ability to lead and mentor machine learning engineers or data scientists.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to innovate and stay updated with advancements in machine learning.
