Responsibilities
- Perform design, analysis, and testing under the mentorship of senior engineers.
- Document requirements, analyses, designs, tests, test plans, and test reports using prescribed templates.
- Implement software routines and maintain the code base according to coding standards.
- Develop and perform integration tests, debugging, and design verification tests.
- Investigate system problem reports and field incident reports, including root-cause and trend analyses.
- Provide technical support during high-level integration and qualification testing and to internal customers.
- Perform developmental configuration management activities.
- Present work at design reviews and peer reviews.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a university degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Must be enrolled at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution and eligible for a co-op work term during the specified period.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain applicable Canadian government security clearances and other required security assessments.
- Familiarity or experience working with AI/ML models is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, problem-solving, learning, and ownership skills are valued.
