Base Salary
$137k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end features across React frontends and Python Django/FastAPI backends.
- Own components and small services from specification through deployment and operation.
- Contribute to AI-powered features including prompt engineering, agent workflows, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions and help influence technical direction.
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into shipped software.
- Help improve CI/CD, testing, documentation, and operational practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with React or a comparable modern frontend framework and Python with Django, FastAPI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and modern web application architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker-based deployments, AWS or Azure infrastructure, and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort working across time zones with non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity about AI/ML and interest in building AI-powered products.
- Preferred: production experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs.
- Preferred: familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, Pinecone, Weaviate, or RAG architectures.
- Preferred: experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Airbyte, or similar data infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience with n8n, Zapier, Temporal, or similar workflow automation platforms.
- Nice to have: experience on small engineering teams, enterprise SaaS or compliance-sensitive industries, or AEC, construction technology, or industrial software.
