Responsibilities
- Write Web Platform Tests and Gecko mochitests to improve test coverage.
- Fix test and code problems and pass the tests to improve Gecko correctness.
- Work with Gecko module owners through code review and iterate changes to landing.
- Improve Firefox Session History test coverage and code correctness.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a browser-engine codebase or browser-engine automation is required, ideally with Firefox or Gecko.
- Solid JavaScript experience applied to automated testing is required.
- Proficiency and experience developing software in C++ are required.
- Strong debugging skills in a mature large codebase are required.
- Comfort with public bugs, code review, and upstream landing is required.
- Prior contributions to Gecko or another major browser engine are preferred.
- Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests is preferred.
