Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop scalable solution architectures balancing performance, security, reliability, and cost.
- Design and maintain enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, operational data stores, data models, integrations, and storage and access standards.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, integrations, and automation workflows.
- Monitor and optimize data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Implement data governance, master data management, metadata management, lineage, and cataloging practices.
- Establish data quality, security, access, documentation, and architecture standards.
- Partner with business and technical teams and lead modernization and mayoral initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field plus six years of satisfactory full-time related experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any field plus ten years of satisfactory full-time related experience.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to either stated qualification may be accepted.
- Related experience includes enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture, and/or IT infrastructure systems.
- Experience with enterprise data architecture, data engineering, data integration, data governance, security, and operational excellence is required for the role’s responsibilities.
