Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert investigating and resolving issues across critical business systems.
- Lead support-process improvements and efforts to increase system uptime and reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible.
- Build reusable and scalable Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation modules for enterprise infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain GitHub Actions automation workflows and pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes across storage, network, Windows, Linux, and other platform services.
- Develop automation interfaces and dashboards using React JS.
- Integrate automation solutions with enterprise platforms and APIs, including ServiceNow.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, pipeline issues, and infrastructure-related problems.
- Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, and reporting within automation solutions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams on automation and operational improvements.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional issue-resolution activities.
- Implement AI-assisted automation and AIOps capabilities, including insights, recommendations, and controlled remediation.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and related configuration-management and automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and version control systems.
- Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and GitHub.
- Experience with cloud technologies and architecture across Azure and/or GCP.
- Experience developing automation interfaces, dashboards, enterprise integrations, and APIs.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI-assisted automation and AIOps capabilities.
