Responsibilities
- Coordinate with a Product Manager, lead developer, and QA lead on an Agile team.
- Create new product features for global customers using test-driven development.
- Develop across the full stack, including frontend and backend systems.
- Own assigned functionality end to end through architecture, design, implementation, testing, delivery, maintenance, and support.
- Keep current with new technologies and share technical knowledge.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from definition and design through product delivery.
Requirements
- BE or B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Proven object-oriented programming skills with Java and/or C++.
- Experience with relational database management systems and SQL, including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and data structures.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred: experience developing enterprise or web applications.
- Preferred: knowledge of Java and JEE technologies, including JDBC, JMX, JPA, and JMS.
- Preferred: knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and various frameworks.
- Preferred: application server experience with Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss.
- Preferred: experience with REST APIs and open-source frameworks such as Spring.
- Preferred: ability to contribute to open-source projects.
