
Litigation Engineer

Responsibilities
- Embed with law firm litigation teams to diagnose case needs, configure DISCO capabilities, and support live legal matters.
- Serve as the liaison between customer users and internal product and engineering teams, reporting usage insights and prioritizing feature requests.
- Develop reusable workflow templates, prompt patterns, practice-area playbooks, and enablement materials.
- Support strategic deals, firm expansion efforts, and multi-practice-group adoption alongside executive leadership and sales teams.
- Design custom agents, tools, and workflows with client legal teams and translate enterprise needs into standardized platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience in complex commercial litigation, mass torts, or regulatory investigations.
- Background in legal innovation or practice technology at a law firm.
- Hands-on experience with litigation workflows, legal strategy development, or fact development.
- Familiarity with scripting or APIs such as Python or JavaScript, or hands-on experimentation with agent frameworks and tool protocols.
- Preferred qualifications include mastery of cause-of-action mapping, factual chronologies, and evidence analysis; understanding of retrieval systems, agentic tools, prompt patterns, and model operations; and the ability to influence cross-functional partners and law firm stakeholders without formal authority.
- Ability to operate effectively in early-stage, ambiguous environments with minimal structured playbooks.
