Responsibilities
- Develop RF configuration and visualization tools for Apple cellular products.
- Build tests, tools, frameworks, and automation for large-scale cellular and RF systems.
- Apply AI/ML to anomaly detection, data analysis, monitoring, and automation of high-volume engineering data.
- Own software work end to end, including requirements gathering, design, architecture, development, and delivery.
- Collaborate with RF teams and international cross-functional teams.
- Conduct design and code reviews and break projects into actionable tasks.
Requirements
- Proven software development experience, preferably involving RF products.
- Experience applying AI/ML to real-world engineering problems such as anomaly detection, data analysis, and automation.
- Strong object-oriented and functional programming skills in Java or Python; Rust is a plus.
- Ability to develop high-quality software products and demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Experience working with international teams.
- BSc, MSc, or Dipl.-Ing. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree is preferred.
- Experience with Git-based version control, CI/CD, anomaly detection, multithreading, parallel processing, and integration, system, and end-to-end testing is preferred.
- Knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G, and preferably 5G mobile communications and understanding of RF systems and RF building blocks are preferred.
- Experience with developer-facing tools or automation frameworks is preferred.
