Base Salary
$139k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Automate provisioning and management of secure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based and hybrid-cloud platform solutions with engineering teams.
- Write reusable, modular, efficient, and documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute across architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, support, and maintenance.
- Act as a subject matter expert in build, release, deployment, and automation processes.
- Analyze metrics and technical debt to improve automation and continuous integration processes.
- Resolve complex technical challenges, maintain technical documentation, and mentor team members.
- Identify process improvements and align engineering efforts with strategic business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent work experience, plus 7–10 years of related experience and training; an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- Advanced development and scripting abilities in Python, Perl, Java, or C.
- Experience with deployment and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Significant experience building and managing automated pipelines and continuous integration processes.
- Experience with automation technologies such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience with source code control tools, build tools, continuous integration systems, virtualization, cloud, and container technologies.
- Expertise in defining and analyzing metrics and managing technical debt.
- Background in test-driven development or agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Strong innovation, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
