Base Salary
$165k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own security across cloud Kubernetes clusters, SaaS integrations, developer workflows, and application logic.
- Build internal security tooling and CI/CD automation to identify vulnerabilities before production.
- Lead threat modeling sessions and secure code reviews for secure-by-default APIs and deployments.
- Harden authentication and access control across internal and external surfaces.
- Conduct red-team activities, lead vulnerability remediation, and manage penetration testing.
- Establish, launch, and manage the company’s bug bounty program, including report triage and remediation.
- Lead incident response and run blameless postmortems that produce systemic improvements.
- Translate security risks into actionable engineering work for development teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering with deep security expertise.
- Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
- Ability to analyze weaknesses across business logic, IAM configurations, infrastructure, and codebases.
- Track record of responding to real-world incidents and leading remediation efforts.
- Experience prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced 100–300 person startup environment.
