Responsibilities
- Deliver a mix of discovery work and technical improvements for the API platform.
- Evolve the GraphQL API and event gateway to meet client needs.
- Enhance the developer experience for internal teams using APIs.
- Collaborate with teammates to refine shared systems and ensure platform consistency.
- Participate in team support and on-call duties to maintain service reliability.
- Represent the API Platform team in health reviews and post-mortems.
Requirements
- Experience building backend services, ideally with TypeScript.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with functional programming concepts and interest in Scala is a plus.
- Experience with GraphQL interfaces and AWS, Kubernetes, or event-driven architectures is preferred.
