Responsibilities
- Own the target architecture and technical roadmap for the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud identity lifecycle platform.
- Design integrations among SailPoint, enterprise applications, authoritative sources, downstream identity and access services, cloud platforms, APIs, data sources, and security services.
- Define reusable patterns for identity data ingestion, connectivity, normalization, governance, access, and reuse.
- Guide development of an identity data lake and broader identity data fabric supporting analytics and experience layers.
- Partner with data and engineering teams using Databricks and Lina for identity data, analytics, and solution delivery.
- Architect user experiences for employees, approvers, administrators, and other identity stakeholders.
- Shape agentic AI assistants and workflow use cases for application-access requests, user context, and approval routing.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and create architecture standards, reference designs, integration patterns, and decision documentation.
- Provide technical leadership across identity, access, data, connected systems, analytics, automation, and user experience domains.
- Collaborate with security, IAM, data, engineering, application, and business partners and communicate architecture decisions to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on architecture experience with SailPoint, specifically SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, identity governance, access-request workflows, approvals, provisioning, and connected-system architecture.
- Experience designing enterprise architectures integrating cloud platforms, applications, APIs, data sources, and security services.
- Deep understanding of identity-data connectivity and movement between identity platforms and external systems.
- Experience designing data platforms, data lakes, data fabrics, analytics foundations, or comparable enterprise data architectures.
- Ability to connect identity architecture with data, analytics, automation, and user-experience needs.
- Ability to explain architecture tradeoffs, document decisions, and guide cross-functional teams from concept through implementation.
- Experience operating as a senior technical leader in complex, matrixed enterprise environments.
- Preferred experience with AI, generative AI, or agentic AI for enterprise workflows, identity, security, or access management.
- Preferred experience with context-aware assistants, workflow agents, AI-service integrations, Databricks or similar platforms, experience layers, portals, conversational interfaces, cloud security, privacy, data governance, responsible AI, and architecture leadership across multiple teams.
