Base Salary
$140k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D and production software development for next-generation radar products.
- Support system integration of software on primarily commercial off-the-shelf hardware.
- Support deployed software capabilities used by U.S. and international customers.
- Work full-time on-site in the Hawthorne, Los Angeles, California office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional object-oriented software development experience.
- Extensive or advanced Python experience and extensive software development experience using Linux.
- Experience with Agile lifecycle processes, including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
- Experience with radar or other ground and airborne sensors, radar modes and algorithms, signal processing, target detection, and tracking is preferred.
- Current or previous Department of Defense security clearance is preferred.
- Preferred technical experience includes networks, CUDA, software-defined radios such as Ettus, advanced time synchronization, near-real-time embedded software, Git, containers, virtualization, BIOS and boot security, encryption, visualization, defense architectures and messaging standards, modeling and simulation, and hardware/software integration and verification.
- Preferred experience includes production-level software development and deployment, DevOps or DevSecOps, continuous integration and delivery, high-TRL systems, and additional languages such as C++, Rust, NodeJS, Java, or Go.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
- U.S. Person status is required to access U.S.-only data systems.
