Responsibilities
- Partner with domain experts and Allianz operating entities to understand business problems and translate them into production AI solutions.
- Reuse and extend Minimum Viable Solutions and AI Building Blocks, while designing and implementing custom services, integrations, and agents when needed.
- Ship solutions across backend, frontend, data/ML, and operations stacks, owning the path from development to production.
- Set up CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code while ensuring security, compliance, and reliability.
- Document and operationalize solutions, and contribute reusable patterns to the central building-block catalogue.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production code across backend, frontend, data, and operations.
- Ability to work in unfamiliar codebases, domains, and partner environments while identifying issues and delivering value.
- Practical experience with cloud-native stacks, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, testing, observability, and secure coding in regulated settings.
- Working knowledge of modern data and AI stacks, including Python, APIs, vector databases, and LLM or agent frameworks.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills, including effective partnership with an AI Engagement Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluency in English; familiarity with machine learning is advantageous.
