Responsibilities
- Carry out basic work instructions to learn company fundamentals and engineering practices.
- Conduct limited-scope testing under the supervision of engineers.
- Gather and assemble data for engineers.
- Assist with research in the assigned functional area.
- Conduct design analysis and calculations under engineering supervision.
- Assist engineers with appropriate design details and complete other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and making progress toward an undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or above.
- Have basic engineering tool knowledge relevant to the discipline.
- Demonstrate diligence, hard work, and ability to learn quickly.
- Preferably be entering the junior or senior year.
- Knowledge of 3-phase power systems, power electronics, control systems, switchgear, motors, mg sets, electronics packaging, or energy conversion is a plus.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
