Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize system-level code using C, C++, and Python.
- Build understanding of Unix systems and enterprise-scale functionality.
- Explore and integrate AI-based techniques into data management processes.
- Use AI to understand code, improve existing tests, and develop new features.
- Document design, implementation, and testing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and receive mentorship on NetApp data management technologies.
Requirements
- Be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Be a third-year student seeking a six-month internship as part of a degree program.
- Have working proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
- Have basic knowledge of operating system kernel architecture and debugging tools.
- Understand AI and machine learning concepts and be interested in their application to data management.
- Have strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Have unrestricted authorization to work in Ireland for the full internship duration.
