Base Salary
$137k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the program’s GCP platform, including GKE, IAM, Vertex, networking, and supporting services.
- Build and maintain reproducible infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Operate declarative GitOps environments using Argo CD, Flux, and Helm.
- Design and maintain CI/CD automation, including blue/green and canary deployment patterns.
- Build observability and alerting and lead troubleshooting of platform incidents.
- Serve as the onsite owner for cloud access, environment provisioning, and operational issues.
- Manage AI model access, GPU and accelerator capacity, quotas, API keys, usage, and spend.
- Optimize AI model deployment and serving through model selection, right-sizing, batching, caching, and quantization.
- Automate recurring operational work and partner with distributed engineering teams to maintain environment alignment.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure, with a DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE background.
- Deep hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience, including GKE, IAM, VPC/networking, and Cloud Build; AWS or Azure experience is welcome but GCP depth is required.
- Strong Terraform skills and production infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Practical experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as Argo CD, Flux, and Helm.
- Solid Kubernetes and containerization experience, including deploying, scaling, securing, and debugging workloads.
- Strong automation and scripting ability with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Ability to operate independently in a customer environment and work directly with partner engineering and IT teams.
- Experience supporting ML or AI workloads on cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred experience working onsite with large enterprise or automotive customers, familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost management, and security or compliance experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
