Responsibilities
- Support development and testing of PX4/autopilot software from configuration through flight-log analysis.
- Write and maintain Python tooling for test automation, data processing, and flight-log analysis.
- Reproduce, isolate, and document software issues found in simulation and flight testing.
- Process and visualize flight and telemetry data for the engineering team.
- Connect test results to software changes and maintain clean, reusable tooling, scripts, and documentation.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace, or a comparable technical field.
- Hands-on experience with Python, ideally involving data processing or automation.
- Familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, or comparable autopilot or flight-control systems.
- Must be a citizen of a NATO member state due to export-control and security regulations.
- Available to work 20 hours per week during the semester with flexibility around studies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
