Base Salary
$171k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and operate scalable backend microservices, caching layers, and high-throughput data-processing platforms.
- Participate in system design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, maintenance, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Build and optimize relational and non-relational storage interactions, streaming data pipelines, and database query pathways.
- Integrate backend infrastructure with product features and enterprise capabilities in partnership with product engineering teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations, debug production issues, and refine monitoring tools while maintaining platform health.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working within large, well-maintained codebases.
- Experience operating backend services in production, including operational tooling, monitoring and alerts, and live incident resolution.
- Familiarity with containerized environments, cloud infrastructure, and microservice architectures.
- Knowledge of relational or non-relational storage systems, real-time data streaming, or caching layers is preferred.
- Clear communication and collaborative work with engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and willingness to use them to improve productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
