Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Responsibilities
- Build and test web and mobile product features alongside senior engineers.
- Design and implement small AI-powered automations that remove repeatable work.
- Write clean, efficient code and own debugging and troubleshooting.
- Partner with data analysts to collect and interpret usage data for product AI applications.
- Iterate quickly on projects using AI-assisted development and feedback from senior engineers.
- Learn new languages, frameworks, tools, and AI-native development practices as team needs evolve.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field and graduating between 2027 and 2028.
- Coursework or project experience in software engineering.
- Experience using AI to learn, debug, ship, or build a project.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or Kotlin through real project experience beyond coursework.
- Ability to learn new frameworks and tools quickly, with ideally some exposure to React, Postgres, SQL, or gRPC.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or pair with teammates.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Availability to work in person at the San Francisco SOMA office.
