Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, maintain, and support AI and ML solutions across clinical, laboratory, and operational domains.
- Develop software applications and front-end web solutions using object-oriented programming skills.
- Fine-tune language models, engineer prompts, and deploy AI solutions for analytics, product development, and productivity improvements.
- Design and manage end-to-end ETL and BI processes, including data models, EDW architecture, reporting, logging, alerting, scheduling, and job control.
- Tune queries and monitor system, database, BI, and hardware performance.
- Apply advanced analytics, forecasting, predictive modeling, and simulation to optimize blood-product demand, supply chains, and resource allocation.
- Lead operational process improvement projects using project management, Lean principles, and Gemba-style observation.
- Mentor BI analysts and communicate analytical results to clinical, operational, and management stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, privacy, security, confidentiality, and applicable legal and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field plus four years of experience with applied problems is required.
- Three-plus to five years of hands-on experience designing and developing software across the full lifecycle, AI solutions, and BI solutions is required.
- Experience developing, evaluating, validating, and implementing machine learning and artificial intelligence models and algorithms.
- Advanced object-oriented software and systems architecture, optimization, performance tuning, and AI/ML deployment experience.
- Proficiency with Python, Django, Java, HTML, CSS, large language models, BI tools, ETL development, EDW architecture, and reporting analytics.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, SAP BusinessObjects, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure DevOps Server.
- Extensive experience with advanced analytics, forecasting, predictive modeling, simulation, and communicating results to diverse stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to apply Lean principles, prioritize work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain reliable, high-quality outputs.

- Base pay scale generally starting at $72.64-$96.23 per hour.
