Responsibilities
- Analyze and remediate application security vulnerabilities identified through SAST, DAST, SCA, and penetration testing.
- Write, deploy, and validate secure .NET code fixes for production applications.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable remediation strategies for security issues.
- Apply OWASP-aligned secure coding practices across .NET applications.
- Review security findings from Checkmarx, Fortify, AppScan, SonarQube, and similar platforms.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, DevOps, security, and client teams to resolve vulnerabilities.
- Support Secure SDLC initiatives and application security compliance requirements.
- Conduct security-focused code reviews and integrate automated security gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate code reviews, threat analysis, and remediation workflows.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship on secure development and vulnerability prevention.
Requirements
- 6+ years of .NET development experience with demonstrated application vulnerability identification and remediation.
- Strong hands-on experience remediating security issues in internet-facing applications.
- Hands-on experience with DAST, SAST, and SCA tools such as AppScan, Checkmarx, and SonarQube or equivalents.
- Experience remediating OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding issues in production applications.
- Experience securing internet-facing web applications, APIs, and cloud-hosted services.
- Ability to independently analyze scan reports, perform root-cause analysis, and implement remediation with minimal ramp-up.
- Familiarity with CI/CD security integration and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development and security tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders.
