Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and launch of large-scale payroll and financial application features.
- Build automated solutions that test significant software components, features, applications, or services.
- Create performance, load, scalability, usability, and other test or measurement solutions.
- Apply software testing techniques to detect and prevent defects early.
- Use testing, deployment, and production data to measure quality and provide actionable product improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams globally to plan, design, and implement the platform.
- Develop maintainable, flexible software while managing complexity, dependencies, and resource usage.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
