Responsibilities
- Manage and administer server infrastructure for development and production environments.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Build and integrate .NET backend APIs and Angular user interfaces.
- Design and optimize SQL or NoSQL databases for application needs.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot development and production issues.
- Apply DevOps practices and disciplined release, rollback, documentation, and support processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of directly related experience.
- Experience with server administration and infrastructure management.
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Backend development experience with the .NET framework.
- Database design and management experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- API development and integration experience.
- Frontend development experience with Angular.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, release-management, troubleshooting, and risk-identification skills.
