Base Salary
$210k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain public APIs within TRM’s API Product suite.
- Design and build scalable backend systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
- Support internal business units through shared engineering services and functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to turn functional visions into roadmaps with clear outcomes.
- Translate customer pain points into technical and product requirements.
- Build cross-functional relationships to understand and support stakeholder missions end to end.
- Lead projects as a technical anchor and participate in weekly sprint planning and delivery.
- Participate in the internal-tools on-call rotation and triage customer support requests from designated Slack channels.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
- Understanding of storage systems including relational databases such as Postgres and analytical databases.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer pain points and bridge them to technical and product requirements.
- Strong initiative, ownership, problem-structuring, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Prior Node.js experience is not required, as the posting states that tools and languages can be learned on the job.
