Base Salary
$140k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage deployments, on-call duties, incident management, and operational tasks for products in US Government classified environments.
- Oversee AWS, private cloud environments, containers, and virtual machines for stability and scalability.
- Develop scripts, containerized services, and monitoring mechanisms to automate operations and reduce service disruption.
- Build and enhance services in classified environments while promoting DevOps practices through documentation and escalation management.
- Provide 24x7 operational coverage, including night and holiday shifts, within a SCIF environment.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience in both Operations and Engineering environments.
- Proficiency in Linux administration, network troubleshooting, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Strong Python skills and experience with container-based architectures including AWS ECS and Kubernetes.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, patch management, reporting, virtualization, web security, and networking protocols.
- Preferred: experience in air-gapped and classified environments, monthly monitoring programs, FedRAMP authorization and compliance requirements, Information Assurance Technician Level 2 certification, or Top Secret clearance.
