Base Salary
$76k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support and build software using industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
- Solve application design, product development, and user experience problems
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and product managers throughout the development process
- Develop front-end applications with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Develop Python-based geoprocessing tools, services, and AI agents
- Continue developing programming, user interface design, and database skills
Requirements
- At least 1 year of JavaScript or TypeScript experience
- Professional experience in a similar position with comparable responsibilities
- Strong foundation in object-oriented software principles and the ability to analyze algorithms and identify improvements
- Understanding of software development methodologies and software design techniques
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- U.S. citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems, or a STEM-related field
- Preferred experience with HTML, CSS, Swift, Kotlin, ReactJS, Vue, Svelte, Python generative AI, large language models, agentic systems, web AI chatbot interfaces, AI-based 2D and 3D map data visualization, GIS, REST web services, SQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or RDBMS
- Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
