Base Salary

$112k - $219k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale backend implementations of new and existing consumer product features.
Work with the mobile team to design and build strong, resilient APIs for the mobile app.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand member struggles and devise creative solutions.
Proactively identify opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of systems.
Work across the engineering team to uphold high technical standards.

2+ years of experience developing software in a production environment at scale.
Experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks.
Familiarity with transactional databases and caching systems.
Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
Appreciation for maintainable and well-tested code.
Desire to learn and understand the deeper workings of systems.
Start-up experience is a plus.
