Responsibilities

Take ownership of critical networking components, transitioning them from proof-of-concept to production-ready systems.
Build the observability, alerting, and tooling required to maintain 99.99% reliability for ML clusters.
Deep dive into Cilium and eBPF to optimize network performance and reduce latency for training jobs.
Collaborate with technical leads to implement complex networking features, ensuring high code quality.
Serve as a primary escalation point for complex network issues in the Kubernetes layer.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing, deployment, and reliability engineering.

5+ years of experience with a strong focus on running Kubernetes in production environments.
Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes networking model and experience managing high-traffic clusters.
Familiarity with Cilium and eBPF, and comfortable with Linux networking fundamentals.
Ability to translate high-level architecture strategies into working, tested, and deployable code.
Fluency in C/C++, Go, or Rust.
Experience with on-call rotations and a reliability-first mindset.
