Responsibilities
- Design and implement major development projects and features for the identity lifecycle management platform.
- Build, enhance, and maintain infrastructure and product services for importing, syncing, and provisioning identities and access policies.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and debug services using logs such as Splunk and Syslogs.
- Implement functional and unit tests, monitoring, and alerts.
- Conduct design and code reviews, performance analysis, and tuning.
- Prototype solutions to validate scale and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, engineering services, technology operations, product development, and site reliability engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience in Java, preferably with significant experience in SCIM and Spring Boot.
- 5+ years of experience building services, internal tools, and frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience automating and deploying large-scale production services in AWS, GCP, or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of caching, stream processing, and resilient architectures.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP APIs.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people from varied backgrounds.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers.
- Preferred experience with asynchronous processing, multithreading, test-driven development, UI development, or JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of identity and access management protocols and technologies including OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and SCIM.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.
