Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and outlook for autonomous AI agents and platforms in the Security and Privacy threat intelligence domain.
  • Architect and lead large-scale agentic infrastructure with safety, security, and performance boundaries.
  • Mentor and grow mid-level and executive engineers while promoting high standards for code quality, design documentation, and system reliability.
  • Influence product and engineering decisions by connecting AI research with production-grade security applications.
  • Act as a technical anchor and multiplier while collaborating with executive leadership across Google Cloud Security and the wider Google ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
  • 5 years of experience building software for data privacy or security, such as identity and access management.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
  • Preferred: technical experience in cybersecurity, applying AI to malware analysis, threat hunting, or security operations.

Benefits

  • Spain base pay is €120000–€123000 EUR, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
