Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize databases, stored procedures, ETL packages, SQL queries, and other data-layer components.
- Write complex SQL queries and database objects including views, triggers, cursors, and user-defined functions.
- Design data models and data warehouse, lakehouse, and warehouse solutions.
- Develop ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other ETL tools.
- Work with application developers to assess how core-system changes affect SQL databases.
- Define data solutions for business problems in collaboration with project managers, senior leaders, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate program strategies and plans and negotiate quality technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with SQL databases or SQL Server, including database construction, design, and data modeling.
- 1–2 years of experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, or Spark SQL.
- Experience with Git integration and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with lakehouse and warehouse concepts.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other ETL tools.
- Experience with Power BI and Analysis Services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor.
- Multi-tenant architecture and concurrent processing experience is preferred.
- Experience with agentic coding and building new agents is preferred.
