Base Salary
$143k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own cross-domain solution architecture spanning AI, software, cloud, integration, and data.
- Architect and implement integrated solutions across software applications, cloud services, data platforms, and APIs in AWS environments.
- Develop prototypes, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and reusable reference implementations for customer-facing, capture, and proposal efforts.
- Assess legacy applications and existing environments to define target architectures and incremental transformation paths.
- Lead adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Coach engineers and architects through complex technical challenges and communicate architecture decisions to executives, customers, developers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, cloud architecture, or data architecture, or 12+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience architecting AI-enabled solutions using generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic workflows.
- Experience developing technical solutions for customer-facing, business development, capture, or proposal efforts.
- Experience using AI-assisted software engineering tools such as Claude Code, coding agents, or code-analysis tools.
- Experience architecting and implementing integrated solutions across software applications, cloud services, data platforms, and APIs in AWS environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience includes generative or agentic AI implementation, model and tool integration, evaluation, governance, responsible AI, Python, SQL, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, containers, cloud-native services, legacy transformation, and Databricks.
- Preferred qualifications include architecture, Databricks, machine learning, solution architecture, cloud architecture, generative AI, AI engineering, or data and AI platform architecture certifications from AWS, GCP, or Microsoft.
