Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize 3-5 high-potential experiments based on new AI research and manage the experimental flow.
- Build and maintain experimentation infrastructure for AI evaluations and A/B testing at scale.
- Translate AI research into shipped product features that improve user experience and key product metrics.
- Integrate AI tooling into internal engineering workflows in collaboration with the CTO.
- Identify and share promising AI research while building team expertise in AI evaluations, context engineering, and related areas.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of engineering experience across any engineering domain.
- Deep familiarity with AI evaluations, reasoning systems, agentic architectures, and context engineering.
- Exceptional programming skills and experience with AI-first workflows.
- Experience designing experiments, running A/B tests, performing statistical analysis, and using data to guide product decisions.
- Working knowledge of model deployment, inference optimization, and scaling considerations.
- Proficiency integrating APIs from multiple LLM providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and open-source models.
- Demonstrated history of shipping high-impact products involving AI.
- Experience working in remote, fast-paced, iterative development environments.
- Research curiosity, ability to prototype new techniques, strong communication, collaborative experimentation, and comfort with ambiguity are valued.
