Base Salary
$123k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software and information platforms.
- Provide platform metrics and proactively identify patterns that improve platform stability.
- Break down complex initiatives into actionable work items.
- Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive long-term stability and performance improvements.
- Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks.
- Collaborate with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into platform designs and reusable components.
- Mentor and guide engineers through architectural insights, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership.
- Participate in policies, procedures, practices, metrics, and models for complex projects with significant long-term impact.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on GCP experience with products such as Compute Engine, IAM, and APIs.
- Experience maintaining the Databricks platform.
- Advanced knowledge of technical concepts and the ability to independently determine methods for completing new projects.
- Experience mentoring less experienced colleagues and providing technical leadership.
